My biggest dilemma with exercise is how to fit it all into my busy schedule. I’m extremely self-concious and the idea of exercising in the living room in front of my husband and kids makes me less than motivated. But I’m gonna do this. I’ve given my weight battles to the Lord and I declare victory in the name of Jesus that I WILL SUCEED!!
As part of my plan, I downloaded a bunch of audio books that I can load on my ipod and listen to them as I walk. I’m gonna force myself to get over my insecurities and do my strength training exercises in the evening while I’m watching tv. Cardio was still my problem spot – until this morning. Who knew that a simple worship service during church would count as Cardio? We has fast paced songs, a lot of movement, and I was well winded by the time it was over and they moved into something slower for prayer time.
So I got creative. I went through all my music and found an hour and half of my favorite fast-paced, high energy songs and saved them as a Cardio playlist.
I still need to go for a walk tonight but I’m waiting for it to cool off just a little bit more.
